Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Strategist


We are seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Strategist to support our expanding Lifecycle Marketing group that pairs with our industry-leading Conversion Rate Optimization and Paid Media programs. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing team working on industry-leading clients across non-profit, B2B and B2C.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Working with clients and the broader Cro Metrics team to communicate, create, and implement lifecycle marketing strategies and programs
  • Manage strategic roadmapping, assets, and client approvals
  • Manage day-to-day operations of lifecycle programs from copywriting, proofreading, production and segmentation and automation creation to monitoring, analyzing, reporting, and optimization
  • Report and analyze cross-platform performance and identify optimization opportunities to achieve client goals
  • Opportunity to mentor and manage 1-2 direct reports

Experience and Skills

  • 4+ years experience running email campaigns in an ESP or marketing automation tool (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, Klaviyo, Mailchimp,, EveryAction)
  • 3+ years experience running a successful lifecycle program, such as nurture flows and post-conversion communications, from copywriting, proofreading, and segmentation creation to reporting, across any combination of email, SMS, push, chat, and landing pages
  • Strong experience in communicating strategics and program results to senior and C-suite level clients
  • Ability to create and test data-driven hypotheses to improve email performance, evaluate results, and evolve strategy
  • Experience guiding email best practices and privacy law compliance (e.g. CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA)
  • Experience monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on lifecycle campaign performance to optimize engagement metrics such as deliverability, open rates, click rates, conversions, and unsubscribe rates with ability to provide recommendations for improvement to key stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of development and production processes with the ability to build HTML/CSS emails or automation triggers/flows of varying complexity
  • Experience working in professional services, specifically serving in a client-facing capacity is a big plus
  • Ability to juggle multiple initiatives at once

Compensation: $110 - $140k annual
